hELP lines & other resources GLBT National Help Center 888-843-4564 Hours: Mon - Fri 4PM to 12 AM Eastern Sat. Noon to 5 PM eastern. The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender National Hotline provides telephone and email peer counseling , as well as factual information and local resources for cities and towns across the United States. We speak with callers of all ages about coming out issues, relationship concerns, HIV/AIDS anxiety and safer sex information and lots more. Our database contains information on social and support groups, as well as gay friendly religious organizations, sports leagues, student groups and more. We also have information on GLBT-friendly businesses including lawyers, doctors and various counseling professionals. Suicide Prevention Lifeline 800-273-8255 This is a free 24 hr hotline available to anyone in suicidal crises or emotional distress. Your call will be routed to the nearest crisis center to you. Call for yourself or someone you care about. Milwaukee County Crisis line. 414-257-7222. Social workers and RN's are available from about 7am to 11pm.
