The Lion’s Den Gorge Natural Area / Dhar Property is located between Port Washington and Grafton, east of the intersection at County Highway “C” and Lake Shore Drive. The Dhar property represents the last stretch of private, undeveloped bluff land along the Lake Michigan shoreline, from Illinois up to areas well north of Ozaukee County. Approximately 0.7 miles of 90 to 100 foot bluffs look out onto Lake Michigan, offering tremendous viewing opportunities for residents and visitors.

Since this is not an easy location to find we will meet at the BayShore park and ride lot and carpool to the hiking site. To get to the park and ride lot, take I-43 north to Silverspring Dr. The park and ride lot is on Port Washington Rd just north of Silverspring.

DINING OUT - BROCACH IRISH PUB

Dining Out this month will be held at Brocach Irish Pub and Restaurant.  Brocach features dinner and late night menus including Irish specialties well as fine contemporary cuisine and daily dinner specials. In addition to outstanding food, expect to find great imported beer, including the best pint of Guinness west of Galway, unusual Irish and Scotch whiskeys and regular Irish music sessions.
